What is an SQF Level III Certification?

SQF is recognized by retailers and foodservice providers around the world who require a rigorous, 
credible food safety management system. The SQF Program is recognized by the Global Food Safety 
Initiative (GFSI) and links primary production certification to food manufacturing, distribution and 
agent/broker management certification. SQF certification is based on government and industry food
 safety requirements, so businesses at every level have the ready documentation they need to
demonstrate the steps they’ve taken to increase food safety. In addition, the SQF program provides 
specialized guidance documents on standards within specific categories, such as egg processing, 
and fresh produce packhouse operations.
Culinaire Foods has the highest designation of Level 3, indicating a comprehensive implementation of
 safety and quality management systems.

What categories of customers does Culinaire service?

Culinaire Foods has a large and evolving menu of frozen foods ready for your supermarket delis,
convenience store, gift or food catalog, meal kit and airline. We have hundreds of delicious options
for your application. We also have custom and co-packing capabilities to create a unique and
proprietary food item you may need. 

What is co-packing or a co-packing manufacturer?

Our co-packing services allow you to build out your branded inventory for supermarket delis, 
convenience store, gift catalogs, meal kit companies and airlines. Either with items in production or 
products created custom for you, our co-packing services can realize your culinary vision. 

How Do Custom Food and Co-Packing Services Work?

Culinaire is your answer if you don’t own a facility and need a partner in order to manufacture food
and pack it for you.
Our chefs can perfect your recipe or develop your food concept from recipe to packaging. Our staff
chefs lend their food development expertise to help you create unique and inventive appetizers,
hors d’oeuvres and hand held snacks, entrees, side dishes, and complete meals, year round and for the
holidays. We work with you to process, label and package your food product to fit your needs.
We guarantee a consistent, high-quality product with each order. Ask about our Private Label

custom food co-packing solutions ensures your success. We produce food that is superior in quality,
appearance, and consistency. 

What do you mean by custom food capabilities?

In addition to our growing menu of items, Culinaire Foods has the ability to create the food that you 
design. We can take your food concept from idea through development. You don’t even need recipe 
expertise. Our chef’s will review your custom food request and develop a recipe for your product. 
Our standing menu contains appetizers, hors d oeuvres and hand held snacks, entrees, side dishes, 
and complete meals for year round and holidays, but our custom food manufacturing capabilities 
draws from dozens of recipes or we can use to produce your recipe or idea. Our capabilities are vast 
and our service quick so we create the ood you need.

What are your lead time requirements?

It is typically about 10 working days depending on scope of project to get the food into production. 
This generally depends on ingredient availability/accessibility.

What manufacturing tools/machines do you use to produce food?

We have the ability to completely mechanize food manufacturing, mechanize and hand-finish, or create
 a dish that is handmade from beginning to end.
Culinaire also blast freezes food. This quick freeze method works to save moisture and preserve 
freshness/flavor especially when the consumer reheats the dish
We also use Rheon extrusion machines on our manufacturing process.

What types of people or companies does Culinaire help?

Both large and small, supermarket delis, convenience stores, gift catalogs, meal kit companies and 
airlines. We have the ability to scale projects to even work with small and medium sized orders. 

How are products packaged?

Shrink film and vacuum pack technologies onsite. We even do flow-wrap if needed – depending on 
feasibility.

Are products fresh or frozen?

Our products are prepared fresh and blast frozen to seal in freshness and flavor. Our gourmet food 
items can then be sold frozen or defrost and display by the retailer for sale behind the deli counter.
